Hello all you fabulous people! My name is Brittany and I am a 4 year old Maine Coon. Now I know what you're thinking and no, I am most definitely not overweight. All us Maine Coon kitties are generally larger in size than your average domestic short hair cats. That just happens to be one of the many reasons people love us so much. My family happens to love me because I'm also smart and beautiful! They even give me cookies at breakfast time (cat cookies of course). My favorite activity is rolling over and over on the floor. Sometimes I make myself a little dizzy but it's ok. I'm kind of like a 4-legged dust mop I suppose. I also do something that a lot of cats don't often do. I can do a trick! I shake hands with people. If those silly dogs can do it then why can't I? Plus, I'm a sophisticated cat who likes to properly greet people. I bet I don't look very sophisticated when I sleep on my back with my feet up in the air though. Sometimes you just have sleep in whichever position is most comfortable, am I right? I also like to hang out on the coffee table. It's my favorite place to just relax and watch the world go by. So I know the one question that must be on your mind. Is she ever NOT adorable? Well according to my parents, yes. They seem to be under the impression that they can just pet me whenever they want. I don't feel the same way and don't always welcome their petting. At the end of the day though, I'm still loved no matter what.
The whole team is the jam! I have yet to find a vet that compares since I left Chicago. They took care of my pets through it all, are non-alarmist and are as good with people as they are with animals. I still try to pop in and say hi whenever I'm home. Highly recommend!
